Putting forth much hard work to make it happen, IrishOnDeck Mobile is now live and ready for iPhone/iPod Touch users! This new mobile version of our website is to make the articles load easier, and that you can navigate through the posts easier than ever.
To simply install it on to your phone/ipod, just open up “Safari” and then in the URL address bar, type irishondeck.com. The site will be noticeably different. At the bottom of your screen, you should see a “+”.
When you click on the “+”, three options will be given to you. Select “Add to Home Screen”. Once you’ve done that, IOD has taken care of a nice iPhone app icon, and the name of the app, so all you need to do is press the “Add” button at the top-right corner of your iPhone/iPod Touch screen.
Most of you probably know how to do these things, but for those who aren’t familiar with your iPhone, I hope this helps you out!
And if you don’t like the mobile version, just scroll to the very bottom of your browser, and you’ll find the following:
Just switch off the Mobile Theme, and you’ll be taken care of! If you ever want to go back to the mobile theme, the same switch will be at the bottom of the desktop version of the site.
